Argyle Communications earns local, national and international awards for food clients
Argyle earns awards for work with American Peanut Council, Nestlé & Weston Bakeries
TORONTO, June 18, 2010 – Argyle Communications, one of Canada’s leading independent public relations firms, has been honoured with 11 major industry awards for its work on a range of consumer food campaigns in 2009. These honours included the top Canadian and international awards for issues and crisis management for Argyle’s services to the U.S. peanut industry during the 2009 salmonella crisis, as well as acclaim for Argyle’s campaigns for leading brands such as Nestlé and Weston Bakeries.
“Food clients have been a big part of Argyle’s ‘bread and butter’ for many years, and it’s a great honour to earn this recognition from our public relations industry peers,” said Daniel Tisch, president of Argyle Communications. “In our work for both established and emerging brands, as well as major product categories, Argyle aims to set high standards – and it’s clear we are succeeding.”
Argyle’s Nestlé Fav*rites campaign, which took place during the Halloween and back-to-school time frame, focused on the importance of portion-control and highlighted Nestlé products as a smart option for kid-friendly treats.
An Argyle campaign for Weston Bakeries focused on generating consumer awareness surrounding Patak’s Naan breads. Through grassroots media relations tactics and the profiling of Anjali Pathak, the brand ambassador and granddaughter of the brand’s founder, Argyle executed a multi-faceted, award winning communications campaign.
