What’s single, sweet and available?
Nestlé’s newest portion-controlled chocolate: Aero and Kit Kat Singles™
TORONTO, February 6, 2007 – Canada’s favourite chocolate bars are now available in a convenient portion-controlled format. Nestlé Canada has launched Aero and Kit Kat Singles™, individually wrapped treats that are 100 calories or less – just the right size for a permissible indulgence. Each bar is available in dark and milk chocolate varieties – with the same delicious taste and formulation as full-sized Aero and Kit Kat bars.
“Today’s consumers want easy, satisfying and low-calorie snacking options – and Aero and Kit Kat Singles offer Canada’s most-popular chocolate bars in a portion-controlled package,” said Rob Yocom, marketing manager at Nestlé Canada. “Chocolate lovers can give themselves permission to enjoy their favourite sweet treat more often. Plus, they are the perfect snack for someone on-the-go who is craving a quick and tasty pick-me-up.”
Portion-controlled sizes help consumers manage calorie consumption – without giving up the pleasure.
The Aero Singles milk chocolate bar is 20 grams and 100 calories, and the dark chocolate version is 19 grams and 100 calories. Both the Kit Kat Singles milk and dark chocolate wafer bars are 15 grams and 80 calories. Now available at retailers across the country, individual Nestlé Singles bars have a suggested retail price of $0.79. All Singles varieties are also available in a six-count box, at a suggested retail price of $3.29.
“Kit Kat is Canada’s number one selling chocolate bar, and Aero is number two,” said Yocom. “With this new portion-controlled size, Aero and Kit Kat lovers can indulge in their favourite chocolate bars more often, without worrying about the calories.”
